摘要
We report the optoelectronic characteristics of planar micro-channel devices with a conducting polymer layer, which was prepared by solution-processes of poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS), as a sensing medium. A patterned transparent conducting oxide (indium-tin oxide) layer was employed as an electrode in a planar geometry. Results showed that the present planar devices could detect an in-plane photocurrent upon illumination of external white light. In particular, the in-plane photocurrent was noticeably amplified by increasing bias voltages. The present planar devices exhibited high stability in the detection of white light but the response time was unexpectedly slow by on/off modulation of the incident light.
