摘要
People with multiple disabilities have been shown to display many nutrition problems. The reasons for this can be related to (a) feeding difficulties resulting from physical problems, (b) inappropriate food for their abilities, (c) poor food choices either by themselves or the carers making those choices for them, or (d) inappropriate food supply. With all that is known about nutrition today, and advances in medical technology, it should be expected by modern societies that every possible effort is made with dignity, to comfortably and safely nourish those in care.
