Interest of secondary teaching in hospital departments. About a four years experience at the Grenoble University Hospital Center

If the primary education is well-organized within the french hospitals, we cannot say so about the secondary education, considering that the Ministery circular date November 1991 is exclusively planning specialized school masters intervention. In the Grenoble CHU (Universitary Hospital Center) a few teachers and Service Directors are working hand in hand so that the patients concerned by the secondary teaching can get a scolarship, organized as well, and approved by the Education nationale (National Instruction Dept). In such a system, the voluntary teachers rake an important part. This scolarship, so important indeed for children and teenagers in many services, is also justified in a children psychiatric Department.
