摘要
A system capable of analyzing both beet brei and the hot extraction juice obtained from brei is described, The system operates by reproducing conditions which are comparable with those in industrial diffusion plants, Both the brei and the extraction juice are then analyzed using the NIR technique. The prototype, which is set up at this time, is capable of analyzing up to twenty samples per hour. The results obtained are discussed as the basis of a new principle for evaluation of the industrial quality of beet.
