Sonographic findings in a 9 year old cow with a false lateral abdominal hernia

摘要：
A large swelling with a tight elastic consistency extended from the middle of the left flank to the ventral aspect of the udder, between the costal arch and udder, in a 9 year old pregnant cow was diagnosed as a false lateral abdominal hernia by ultrasonography. Diagnosis by palpation was not possible because of the tautness of the swelling.
