Essential Oil Composition of Fruits and Leaves of Petroselinum hortense from Iran

摘要
The volatile components of the fruit and leaf oils from Petroselinum hortense Hoffm. grown in Iran and obtained through hydrodistillation, were analyzed by GC-FID and GC-MS. Twenty nine compounds (representing 88.7 % of the oil) and twenty seven constituents (representing 87.2 % of the oil) were identified in the fruit and leaf oils, respectively. Myristicin [27.4 % (fruits), 22.7 % (leaves)] and apiol [19.8 % (fruits), 16.9 % (leaves)] were the major components in both oils.
