摘要
An electrochemical sensor was fabricated by electrodeposition of gold nanoparticles onto polypyrrole film synthesized previously on iron electrode and used for hydrazine detection. Scanning electron microscope (SEM), Energy dispersive X-rays (EDX), and X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) techniques were used for Au/PPy composite characterization. The Electrochemical study was realised by cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry and shows that Au/PPy/Fe exhibited a high catalytic activity towards hydrazine oxidation. The kinetics of hydrazine oxidation reaction onto the modified electrode was found to be under diffusion control and the diffusion coefficient (D) for hydrazine species was estimated. The present electrochemical sensor would be a promising for the. detection of hydrazine with a good sensitivity of 0.05 mu A/mu M and a detection limit of 6 x 10(-3) mM of hydrazine.
