摘要：
5,5'-Dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine and 5,5 "-dimethyl-2,2':6',2 "-terpyridine were synthesized in multigram quantities in high yields utilizing organotin intermediates and Stille coupling procedures. The obtained ligands were dibrominated using N-bromosuccinimide.
