Ecology of mosquitoes (Diptera: Culicidae) in natural and artificial breeding sites of rural area in the north of Parana state, Brazil .4. Wild species breeding in artificial reservoirs

This work discuss the presence of mosquitoe lanae of the following species: Aedes terrens, Anopheles albitarsis, An, evansae, An, strodei, Culex tatoi, Cx. taeniopus e Haemagogus leucocelaenus that were found breeding in artificial containers. The species of the genus Anopheles were captured in water boxes close to human residences, while the other species were captured in tires left along a gallery forest.
