摘要
The high demand and expectation for technology workers makes them a vulnerable group for job burnout. Effective coping strategies may benefit management and reduce stress. This study is to investigate the influence of job stress and coping strategies on burnout cross-sectionally. A convenient sample of 2000 technology workers in China was selected, among which there were 1957 completed questionnaires. Study results suggest that job stress was overall positively related to burnout. However, role ambiguity was negatively related to depersonalization, meanwhile, role ambiguity positively was related to reduced personal accomplishment. Moreover, positive coping strategies benefit the reducing of burnout.
