摘要
This study investigated the relationship between reading motivation, reading self-concept, reading attitude and reading fluency in the fourth and fifth grade years. The sample consisted of 375 students (N = 187 males and N = 188 female) were administered the Test of Motivation to Read, Reading Self-Concept, Reading Attitude and Reading Fluency. The specific question addressed was: what is the association between reading motivation, reading self-concept, reading attitude and reading fluency? In this study for analysis of data, applying correlation and hierarchical multiple regression, results showed that reading motivation, reading self-concept, reading attitude were related to reading fluency also results indicated no significant gender effects were found for either reading motivation or self-concept, attitude and fluency. This study adds to the literature of motivation, self-concept, attitude to read and reading fluency. [Zeinab Mihandoost.
