Heat effects in high-density polyethylene after plastic deformation in mixtures with metal oxides under high pressure

摘要
The baric dependences of conductivity and permittivity were measured for several metal oxide powders in the pressure range up to 6 GPa. Mixtures of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with metal oxides after plastic deformation under 2 GPa pressure were studied by differential scanning calorimetry. Pressure treatment caused the formation of mixture metastable states characterized by thermograms containing bimodal peaks of HDPE fusion with enthalpies of 200-280 J/g and broad endothermic peaks in the temperature range 20-100degreesC with enthalpies of 100-200 J/g.
