摘要：

A great variety of mono- and polytopic beta-cyclodextrin hosts have been easily synthesized by Using the Cu-I-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction. Of particular interest for their multibinding properties, dimeric and trimeric CD compounds were obtained by "clicking" mono-6-azido-beta-cyclo-dextrin derivatives with flexible or rigid dialkynyl spacers. The reaction is general, high-yielding for some of the synthesized molecules (>80%) and proceeds under mild conditions. ((C) Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, 69451 Weinheim, Germany, 2008)
