摘要：

Annotation Housing represents a key aspect of quality of life. It is interrelated with one of the basic human needs - a need of shelter. The problematic of housing and evaluation of its quality can be characterized by plurality of approaches and methods. The submitted paper has two aims. The first one is to outline a theoretic-conceptual view on housing and possible approaches to its research in context of quality of life topic. The second aim is to present a practical application of the unified assessment of indicators method for the purposes of comprehensive evaluation of housing quality in Bratislava.
