摘要
Since 2003, the college English reform has been implemented for eight years. However, in the recent years, the reform gives rise to the collapse, dissension and isolation of some old systems. Meanwhile, numerous reform forerunners attempt to develop the new through the old, bringing some beneficial changes to China's college English Education. However, undoubtedly, the most effective teaching model which is worth promoting in a wide range has not appeared yet. All these determine the college English education in China to reach the most key transformation period. Therefore, how to get through this transformation period and reasonably resolve some actual problems in the process of the current college English teaching reform somewhat is of significance. In this paper, based on how to reflect the "men-oriented" teaching concept, combine the task-oriented teaching with the application-oriented teaching model, and strength the guidance to the learning strategies of students to increase their independent learning ability, the author puts forwards the suggestions to solve the problems by integrating the teaching reform practices of the scientific research teams and referring the years of teaching experience.
