摘要
Aim: The purpose of this research is to investigate the situation of atherogenic lipids in women with hirsutism and to compare the atherogenic lipid parameters with the sex hormones Material and methods: The non-HDL levels and Non-HDL to HDL were compared between 66 kontrols and 134 women with hirsutism. Patients' hormonal parameters were compared with Non-HDL values and Non-HDL to HDL ratios. Results: Non-HDL-c level was 109.7 +/- 29.2 in the control group and 129.2 +/- 36.1 in hirsutism group. (p<0.001). Mean Non-HDL/HDL level of the control group was 2.17 +/- 0.84. this value was 2.64 +/- 0.96 in the hirsutism group (p<0.001). There was a statistically significant correlation (r=0.248, p=0.013) between the uric acid and insulin in patients group. Conclusion: There was statically significant elevations of serum atherogenic lipids in women with hirsutism.
