摘要
It is possible to manufacture products with vertical walls such as cylinders by die-less shear spinning using a multipurpose elastomer base. Forming experiments were carried out to control the wall thickness of the cylinder using an aluminum alloy sheet in order to put this technique into practical use. A tool traveling schedule including control of the tool tip level was edited by referring to the strain database on the fundamental forming conditions. By applying it, a cylinder with uniform wall thickness was formed successfully. (C) 2018 The Authors. Published by Elsevier B.V.
