The new sp. is described from Gununa Multi National Park in Sarawak, Malaysian Borneo and compared with its closest congeners, Drepanosticta barbatula Lieftinck and D. drusilla Lieftinck, which are also refigured. New distribution records for the latter 2 spp. are documented.
