Fermi surface topology of Bi2201 studied by temperature-dependent angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy

We report temperature-dependent angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy (ARPES) on superstructure-free Bi1.80Pb0.38Sr2.01CuO6-delta (overdoped, T-c < 4 K) to study the topology of Fermi surfaces (FS). Temperature dependence of the momentum distribution function n(k) obtained from ARPES has revealed a dispersive band which crosses EF along the (pi, 0)-(pi, pi) cut. indicating the hole-like FS is centered at (pi, pi).
