Let q be a power of an odd prime and let k, n is an element of N be such that 1 < k <= n. We investigate the existence of self-reciprocal irreducible monic polynomials over F-q, of degree 2n with their k-th coefficient prescribed. (C) 2012 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
