摘要
In the late 17th and early 18th centuries, a community of builders and stucco workers from the Valsesia Valley in northern Italy, arrived in Franche-Comte, an area which was under significant reconstruction. Appreciated by the sponsors, they were settled permanently and opened the path for the future generations. The article analyzes this migratory phenomenon, which is still observable in the early nineteenth century, contextualizes it and proposes an initial assessment, while taking into account various artistic, social and geographical aspects.
