摘要
We investigate the impact of different initial density profiles and different turbulent velocity fields on the collapse evolution and the star formation process in dense molecular cloud cores with tree-dimensional simulations. We find that the initial density distribution in combination with turbulent motions can easily predetermine the number of formed stars and the degree of fragmentation of the cloud. We conclude, that simulations are only comparable if the initial conditions are the same.
