摘要
High value of Bits/second and Bits/second/hertz are very much essential to support the requirements of current and future mobile users. With Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM), these parameters are achieved very well as per the requirement, but at the cost of increased value of Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR). High PAPR increases the power consumption, thereby reduces the battery life. This article presents review and analysis of the techniques used for PAPR reduction in OFDM. Also, we have suggested the scope and challenges in PAPR reduction.
