摘要
In May 2015, the announcement of "Made in China 2025" marked that China has stepped into the age of Industry 4.0. The plan aims to guide enterprises in the transition from elements-driven to innovation-driven. It is the first ten-year plan for China to become a manufacturing power. It will definitely bring great opportunities for Chinese manufacturing enterprises. However, manufacturing industry covers a wide range. Every particular sector may have different technological features. The analysis about industrial features and innovation performance, especially the technological feature analysis of industry is the substantial part of technological innovation theory. This paper put forward a new research tool of innovation environment two-dimensional matrix, specifically, according to two dimensions: the speed of technological progress and the technological complexity. The manufacturing industry is classified into four categories: fast-simple industry, fast-complex industry, slow-simple industry and fast-complex industry. And ultimately this paper put forward the key influencing factors of technological innovation and development proposals of enterprises in the four kinds of industries.
