摘要
This paper mainly discusses about the factors influencing students' in-class engagement using the OLS regression. The dataset is from a questionnaire survey conducted in China Agricultural University. OLS regression model and some inference tests are used to robust the results. The results turn out to be: (1) students are more active in female teachers' classes, in general; (2) higher level students engage less in class; (3) importance of the course does not matter for the participation.
