Synthesis, crystal structure and properties of 2,7′-(ethylene)-bis-8-hydroxyquinoline

摘要
2,7'-(Ethylene)-bis-8-hydroxyquinoline was synthesized and characterized by IR, UV, H-1 NMR, MS and elemental analysis. The crystal structure of the title compound was determined by X-ray single crystal diffraction. The fluorescence spectrum of this compound was determined. The experimental results show that the crystal belongs to triclinic, space group P-I with unit cell parameters a=0.7473(10) nm, b = 3 0.8323(11) nm, c=1.3124(17) nm, alpha=102.054(2)degrees, beta=95.030(2)degrees, gamma=109.753(2)degrees, V=0.7401(17) nm(3), Z=2,D-c=l.410 Mg/m(3), mu=0.093 mm(-1), F(000)=328, R-1=0.0427 and wR(2)=0.1122.
