摘要
In this work, defected grounded structure (DGS) is employed to a spoof surface plasmon polaritons (SSPPs) unit. Dispersion properties of SSPPs and normalized impedance the unit are analyzed. Based on a smooth transition with simple structure and small size, a compact low-pass filter based on SSPPs is designed. Excellent simulated results (return loss lower than -15.8dB up to 10.1GHz) shows a good balance between broadband features and compact size. This work can find significant potential applications in microwave devices.
