摘要
This paper designed a control system for robotic wheelchair for the aged and the disabled, which consisted of two main parts: gesture interaction and intelligent wheelchair. This design used the Kinect camera to develop the problem of hand gesture segmentation and gesture tracking. The segmentation algorithm based on skin color and depth information method. Then the system gets the information of speed according to the position of the palm in real time. The experiments showed that the intelligent wheelchair can meet the requirements of the operation in the room.
