摘要
Transport properties have been investigated for the single crystals of the nickel-based phosphide with the ThCr2Si2 structure, BaNi2P2 which have been prepared by high pressure synthesis method. It has been proved that BaNi2P2 is a rather conventional type II superconductor, which is an important clue to clear the high temperature superconductivity of the hole-doped AFe(2)As(2) (A=Ba, Sr and Ca) that have the same crystal structure.
