A knowledge-based system for determining the feasibility of a web site project proposed by a client

An expert system application that embodies the expertise of web designers when carrying out an initial assesment of the feasibility of a web project is presented. By means of an interactive form-based dialogue with the client, the system establishes the consistency of the client's idea of what his web project is intended to do. Inconsistent or excessive expectations, unforeseen requirements on resources, planning and training are detected before design starts. The results are presented as a diagnosis report that will make communication between client and designers easier.
