摘要
This article describes an array antenna for a soldier radar. The antenna operates at 94 GHz. First, it is necessary to design a microstrip patch unit that meets the requirements, and then use the designed array element to design the array. The design of the linear array adopts the design method of the edge-shooting linear array. The series feed network is used between the units, and the last patch on each line array is slotted to adjust the deviation of the radiation direction on the pattern. A parallel feed network is used for feeding between the linear arrays, and matching branches are also added on the parallel main feed lines for quarter impedance transformation. The feed structure uses a waveguide-transferred microstrip. Due to its simple structure and ease of fabrication, the way of probe transition is chosen. The antenna's -10dB bandwidth is from 92.6-95 GHz with a bandwidth of 2.4GHz. The -15dB bandwidth is from 93.2-94.5 GHz, the bandwidth reaches 1.3GHz, and vertical bar S11 vertical bar reaches -49.5dB at 93.7 GHz. The gain reaches 17.9 dB at 94 GHz..
