摘要
Anorexia nervosa appears with a constantly rising prevalence among adolescent girls, usually with a clinical presentation of acute physical deterioration as well as serious psychological background, and requires a multidimensional and holistic intervention in a child psychiatric unit. The primary evaluation involves parameters of physical health and psychological ones, such as image of self, depression and anxiety levels, family functioning and intrafamilial relations. The therapeutic plan requires a personalized approach involving improvement of weight and physical health and combined pharmacological and psychotherapeutical interventions that include training in food habits, individual psychotherapy and family consultation.
