摘要
Particles size distribution was carried out using MOUDI cascade impactor on polyethylene terephthalate films. Background samples collected near waste treatment by incineration facilities were analyzed using particle induced x-ray emission (PIXE) in order to characterize fine particles of 0.05 mu m to 50 mu m in diameter [1]. In this work we discuss methodology and analyses peculiarities of blank and background samples in order to investigate transfer of heavy metals during waste treatment by incineration.
