摘要：

This microreview considers various approaches to the synthesis of pyridine derivatives containing a tricyanobutadiene motif in their structures. The following methods for the preparation of pyridine derivatives with tricyanobutadiene motif are described: synthesis from 2-halonicotinonitriles, syntheses starting from malononitrile dimer, malononitrile, and a pseudo four-component synthesis.
