摘要
Nowadays, the investigation of Korean T-DMB system is moving onto the next generation, which is called advanced T-DMB system. It can move up the data transmission rate by using hierarchical modulation. In the hierarchical constellation, each symbol is composed of High-Priority (HP) symbol and Low-Priority (LP) symbol. The HP symbol is used for carrying the conventional data, whereas the LP symbol is used for carrying the additional data. In this paper, we presented how to implement the turbo code into the advanced T-DBM system, and introduced how to combine the turbo code with the Reed-Solomon code to improve the error performance of LP data in the advanced T-DMB system.
