摘要
Batch adsorption equilibrium of the dye Rhodamine 6G, using activated carbon beads incorporated with calcium alginate (ACCA beads), was studied. The effects of several factors governing the adsorption process., such as dye concentration (100-300 mg/l), pH (7-9), and temperature (30-60degreesC), on percent of adsorption were investigated at a fixed dosage of ACCA beads (1 g/l). High percentages of adsorption of Rhodamine 6G were obtained using ACCA beads. Based on the analysis of variance and the factorial design of experiments, dye concentration was the most significant factor under the experimental ranges examined. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science Ltd.
