摘要
The current paper represents a comparative study regarding the efficiency of applying certain technologies at industrial scale, at S.C. Compania de apa (Water company) Arad S.A. with the aim of reducing the concentration of unwanted pollutants: arsenic, iron and ammonium ions, identified in the raw water from the deep basins. The technologies presented are based on coagulation-flocculation process, respectively the adsorption of arsenic on granular ferric hydroxide. After applying these technologies was found that the three pollutants identified in raw water have reduced their content, their concentration reaching values under the legal permissible ones.
