摘要
In this paper, Silicon carbide, barium titanate and barium ferrite were used as the staring materials to fabricate microwave absorbing composites. The composite powders were densified by hot-pressed sintering at 1100 degrees C for I hour under a pressure of 35MPa in vacuum. The phase and microstructure of the sintered were characterized by XRD and SEM techniques. The results showed that Ba2TiSi2O8 was formed in the sintering composite materials, which has whisker morphology. These SiC-based composites would be a promising candidate for microwave absorption materials with strong-absorption, light-weight, wide-band properties.
