摘要
In this study two wheat (Triticum aestivum L) genotypes that with different drought resistance were treated with Mercury Chloride (HgCl2) of different concentrations (25 mu M, 50 mu M and 100 mu M) to inhibit the expression of aquaporins (AQPs). The stomatal conductance (Gs), intercellular CO2 concentration (Ci) and leaf water use efficiency (VVUEL= Pn / Tr) were measured. Results of this experiment showed that physiological traits of WUEL, Gs and Ci had been affected by mercury stress at different levels and in different models among two genotypes during different times. In terms of all these traits mentioned above, drought resistance variety (JM) has better use efficiency of water under mercury stress. Irrigated variety (S4) is sensitive to mercury stress. It may come to this conclusion that mercury stress caused the different change styles between the two different characteristics of wheat genotypes may have relationships with AQPs, which provided some thoughts for the complicated and lengthy process of anti-drought and water-saving of wheat.
