摘要：

The correspondence between Cesare Angelini and Gianfranco Contini: a friendship based on the faith in the logos & BULL; This essay deals with the correspondence between Father Cesare Angelini and the philologist Gianfranco Contini. They met at the Pavia University in the Thirties. Their relation- ship was based upon the idea that poetical ' word & drangbrac; carries with it a deep meaning (from the Greek ethimology : ' Love of the Word & drangbrac;). Hence the title of the correspondence book the essay speaks of : ' Charity and literary criticism are not two different things & drangbrac;. So different as to temperament and edu- cation, the two friends were similar also for their original approach to the Christian faith.
