摘要
This paper is focused on the identification and extraction of human body's dimensions. The definitions of human body features are transformed into geometric information gain metrics and geometric shape characteristics through the operations of cutting plane intersecting with the scanned body surface. Based on the transformations of body features, the proposed algorithm is capable of extracting every key body feature successfully. Simulation experiments verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. In addition, the combination of the proposed algorithm with the acknowledged proportions of human beings constitutes a promising way to its applications.
