摘要
Obesity is a chronic metabolic disease which is relevant to various factors. Obesity is a strong risk factor of many cardiovascular and metabolic diseases and will bring burdens to the life of overweight and obese people. Research showed that most overweight and obesity were caused by unhealthy lifestyle. Therefore, a comprehensive lifestyle intervention based on physical activity, diet and psychology is crucial in the management of overweight and obese people. This study reviewed the current situation of overweight and obesity management strategies, means of interventions and the possible interaction between those interventions. The present study also introduced the diet and exercise prescription of overweight and obese people, and the individualized management scheme for different personal situation. At last, we summarized the shortcomings and difficulties of the present management strategies and propose several key points of management in overweight and obese people according to the demand of individualized management.
