Electrochemical Behavior of Carbon Nanotube/Mn(III) Salen Doped Carbon Paste Electrode and Its Application for Sensitive Determination of N-acetylcysteine in the Presence of Folic Acid

摘要
A novel electrochemical sensor for the selective and sensitive detection of N-acetylcysteine (NAC) in presence of large excess of folic acid (FA) at physiological pH was developed by the bulk modification of carbon paste electrode (CPE) with carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and Mn(III) salen. Large peak separation, good sensitivity and stability allow this modified electrode to analyze NAC individually and simultaneously along with FA. Applying square wave voltammetry (SWV), a linear dynamic range of 5.0x10(-8) - 3.35x10(-4) M with detection limit of 35.0 nM was obtained for NAC. Finally, the proposed method was applied to the determination of NAC and FA in some real samples.
