摘要:
The variation in mechanical and structural properties of a uranium alloy with 1.23 mass % Mo is considered in uniaxial dynamic compression at rates of 400-1100 sec(-1). The Hopkinson cut-rod method is used for dynamic tests of the samples, which are then analyzed by metallographic methods, hardness measurement, and X-ray structural analysis. The deformational distortion of the alloy structure in the given conditions is not very pronounced and is basically due to the residual deformation of the samples.
