摘要
Quasielastic neutron scattering measurements of liquid germanium were performed at 1000 degrees C using the inverted geometry inelastic neutron spectrometer, LAM-40. The dynamic structure factor is obtained over a wide momentum transfer region from 0.6 to 5.1 angstrom(-1). It is found that the shoulder structure at the high-Q side of the first peak of the static structure factor originates from a distinct sub peak which can clearly be identified in S(Q, E).
