摘要
The flow response and dynamic recrystallization of near-alpha Ti-5.6Al-4.8Sn-2Zr-1Mo-0.35Si-0.7Nd titanium alloy has been studied using isothermal hot compressive tests at strain rate of 0.01-10s(-1) in near beta transus. The true stress-true strain curves hot-compressed in near-beta region show a steady-state regime. The deformation is governed essentially by the beta behavior. At strain rate of 10 s(-1), the alloy exhibited plastic flow instabilities. Dynamic recrystallization can take place for the 0.06%C alloy.
