In this paper, two temperature fields (maximum and minimum) have been calculated for a mechanical component denominated hot end. This component, made by ferritic steel AISI 441 and cast iron, can be built on a benzine engine FIRE 1.4 16Valves with turbocompressor. High temperature burnt gases pass through hot end. Contour conditions to calculate these temperature fields are represented by some experimental temperatures, obtained with thermocouples applied on the component during experimental tests. When benzine engine arrives to the maximum power, maximum temperatures are taken. Then, when the benzine engine reduces its power, minimum temperatures are taken. Knowing temperatures in some points of component, it is possible calculate temperature field for all component through the method of finished elements (F.E.M.). The results show high thermal gradient between entry and exit of burnt gases, above all for maximum temperature field.
