摘要
The concept of task-technology fit is applied to mobile information systems, providing an adequate match between information systems and the organizational tasks. The context-related fit is used as a result of appropriate combinations of specific use context-characteristics and technology performance. An inductive research approach to explore the black box of task-technology fit for mobile information system provide information about the extent to which the individual issues are successfully addressed by the mobile technology products. Voice communication, knowledge work, productivity support, versatility, and design are factors that improve an understanding about the relationship between the identified items and categories for task-technology fit. The results of the task-technology fit from a multiple regression analysis found that four of the five factors are significant predictors of overall technology evaluation.
