摘要
In this article, 20 wt% PtRuNi (20 wt%, 6:3:1 atomic ratio) catalysts supported on Vulcan XC-72R carbon was prepared by impregnating reduction method as an anode catalyst for direct methanol fuel cells, using sodium citrate as a stabilizer. And EDS investigation showed Pt, Ru and Ni atomic ratio was about 6.0:3.1:0.9, which was close to the initial molar ratio mixture of raw materials. TEM also exhibit the particle size of PtRuNi was 3.5 similar to 4.5 nm, and it was well-dispersed on actived carbon. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) was showed Pt in as-prepared catalyst of a face-centered cubic (fcc) crystal pattern. Catalytic activity and stability were studied in 0.5 M methanol solution by Cyclic Voltammetry and Chronoamperometry in different pH value. The results showed that the preparation-of PtRuNi/C for methanol oxidation had the highest catalytic activity and Stability when pH value was 8.
