摘要
This article is the result of theoretical research on critical studies in information and in Digital Humanities. It presents the Digital Humanities identifying their main authors, discussing their proximity to Information Science. In this sense, it presents concepts and fields of development of related Digital Humanities and seeks to present Information Science as an interdisciplinary and connectivity space between those. It discusses a common history, as well as a similar scientific rhetoric where it makes use of Georges Canguilhem's concept of "scientific ideology". At the end, through the bibliographic dialogue, it points out the proximity between these two fields, signaling to the Brazilian scientific community that the Digital Humanities are a space for research and investigation activities for contemporary information scientists.
